Southeast Van Lines provides valuation coverage for your household goods based on $0.60 cents per pound per article as required by law.

If you feel you need additional coverage we recommend purchasing replacement value insurance for your household goods at the time of the move.

This policy must be purchased 48 hours in advance of the move and both you and Southeast Van Lines will receive a copy of your policy.

Note: If you are packing the boxes yourself, the contents of the boxes are not covered since the condition of these items is unknown & unverified.  If Southeast Van Lines packs your boxes, the contents can be covered.  If you have a homeowner’s policy you may want to check with the policy writer as they often provide coverage for relocation.
